Hi!
I was on the phone tonight making dining reservations and all dinners at Ohana are supposedly taken Dec. 17-22, except for one 4:30pm time slot.
Sold out already?
You think I have a chance of getting a better reservation for a party of 6 that week?
Kristina :)

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: You wrote Obama in the title!!!! I was super confused till I figured you probably ment O'Hana!!!!!:lmao::rotfl::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I would say check everyday. There will be cancellations, but you just have to keep checking. Since it's usually just DH and I we have no problem getting the ADR's we want. That close to Christmas is an issue too.

Just think what you could have said....

Anyway, December is becoming more and more popular and Ohana is a very popular restaurant, so I'm not surprised it's all booked. 4:30 is probably good! However, people are always switching and canceling, so if you're willing to take the time to keep checking you may find the time you're looking for.

Not surprised. If you want to eat there I would take the 4:30.

But I would double check, as I thought they didn't open until 5pm. ????????

I'm pretty sure that is less then 180 days in advance, so yes, most likely Ohana is sold out. It is one of the first reservations to fill with the days open up.

They must be opening early with the crowds for the holidays. The only thing I could get for the week after thanksgiving was 9:15 and then last week a 4:30 opened up the Saturday of thanksgiving weekend. I took the early seating but will keep checking.

When I read that you got a 4:30 ADR, I went on to see if I could get one and cancel my 6:00 pm one. Sure enough, I did so I just canceled my 6:00 pm Ohana ADR for Dec. 20 for a party of 4.

I can't get into Ohana during Sept. 21-Oct 2 either. I really can't find any breakfast places that aren't at a resport. I just want to eat at Ohana and crystal palace. Even 1900 park fare.

I will keep checking til it's time to go.

I would take the 4:30 and keep checking for the time you want. I have been checking a couple of times a day for a while and just got one for Oct 1st yesterday.

really?? there have been a bunch as i keep checking for new times for us. have you considered changing your table size? like 2 smaller tables or 1 bigger table? play around with it, i'm sure you'll find something

Unless your super picky on your times, I was able to drop in the dates and times and came up with available spots??

Dec 17th - 8:05 (two small tables)
Dec 18th - 8:45 (two small tables)
Dec 18th - 4:30 (2 small tables)
Dec 19th - 4:30 (table for 7 guests)
Dec 19th - 8:50 (2 small tables)
Dec 20th - 4:30 (table for 7 guests)
Dec 20th - 7:25 (2 small tables)
Dec 21st - 7:40 (2 small tables)
Dec 21st - 4:30 (table for 7 guests)
Dec 22nd - 4:30 (table for 7 guests)
Dec 22nd - 7:25 (2 small tables)

as you can see, there are PLENTY of times to grab up ressies:D:D

it seems that the later reservations you will have to split into 2 tables...BUT the earlier ones, you will fit a larger table. If you not picky about when you eat, and I suggest if you want this restaurant, don't be......then you could choose to eat there any day you want to. (not sayin' ur picky:P)

you need to sometimes broaden the search. don't put in a party of 6, do 7. Worked better for me. When doing times, do both an earlier and later. If you do a 5:00 time, it only searches that early time, doesn't search out later times ie tables between 4pm and 6pm time openings. And if you want to eat late, then think about splitting up the table, as long as you can be seated next to each other. Not such a big deal:) It's O'Hana right!!

I hope this helps:D
