Hello!

I was wondering since I heard O'hana is a family style place. Does it require for a small party of 2 to share a table with someone else? Or are there smaller tables that can accompany small groups like this?

There are tables for two. You don't have to share a table. Family-style just refers to how some of the food is served; for example, they'll bring one big bowl of salad for your table of two that you serve onto your own plate.

Since it sounds like you've never been to 'Ohana before, I will warn you (if you haven't seen this mentioned on the boards before) that they run behind often and, unless you have one of the earliest ADR times, you may get seated a while past your time. Plan accordingly.

Pretty sure that the only places that require small groups to share a table are Biergarten and Teppan Edo.

But that is communal seating. It has nothing to do with family style vs a la carte vs buffet serving style.

Smaller parties are not seated with other parties. Every reservation has it's own table even if it's a party of 1 or 2. Family style pertains only to how the food is served. Regarding the wait time to be seated, we eat at 'Ohana every trip at varying ADR times and have never waited more than 10 minutes to be seated. In fact on our most recent 2 visits we were seated with no wait.

Every reservation is seated separately. we've been as a party of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and more and never been seated with anyone else.

Thank you! I've been to 'Ohana before just that's when I was 7 yrs. old so I don't remember anything!!! Thanks for clearing it up with me!

1) It is like HDDR and Luau.
2) They have FOUR large tables.
3) If those tables are not filled by large families/groups, the do seat people together.
. . . WDW needs to maximize the seats (aka, "covers")
. . . they do seat non-grouped people together
4) Each party gets their own Family-Style sides to share among the party - not with the other non-party guests.
