I just watched the Disney Wedding special on the Food Network with my fiancee and saw what looked like large group seating only at 'Ohana. Are there tables for two or is our only option group seating. We wanted something somewhat intimate; any help would be great, thanks!

Last year we were a group of three, me, DH and DD6 and we had a table that seats four. I saw others there who were dining with only two at the table. We're going back on October 2, so we'll update you then.

No, they do have smaller tables. We had a party of 3, but the table we were at was probably better suited for 2. However, I'm not sure how "intimate" it will feel. I thought it was loud and slightly cramped.

In all of our times eating there prior to having a child, we were never placed with anyone else. They did have some smaller tables that I remembered. WDW KNOWS there are couples that want their own little place. My geuss is what you saw really was made to make it look "family" friendly. It's not excatly a quiet place (not Chef Mickey loud by any means either...from my experience) so not one I would see them wanting to promote couple togetherness with. :teeth:
No worries! Enjoy!

We've never been placed with others. The few times we have eaten there, there were huge tables, but they were really filled with large families/friends, not strangers. I dont think it is even an issue there -- I've never heard of parties being combined. By the way, the food there was fantastic and the atmosphere really fun!

It was just us a party of 4 at a window seat table. There was a large group there sitting at 1 table, but they were all together. Everyone else seemed to be anywhere from 2 to 6 sitting at 1 table. I just want to add we loved Ohanas. It was a great atmosphere and very fun.

There are small tables, long tables, round tables, square tables, etc. We had our after wedding dinner there and we had two large round tables with a rectangle table in the middle...haha! That's the set up we had to have, so everyone could fit. I've been there with 4 people and I've been with 2 as well. Here's some photos...

We are a party of 4, on our 1st time at 'Ohana we were seated at one of the large tables, but they did not seat anyone with us. Our 2nd x there we were seated at a table for 4 and there are tables for 2 as well. If you do get seated at one of the larger tables, don't worry, they will not seat anyone else with you.

DH and i went and were seated at a small table. BUT we were seated right where they start the races, hoola hoop etc..... I will say it was a very bad place to sit since we had kids and families ALL around our table. Very difficult to watch the races and eat. I would ask for a table that is a little more out of the way.

DH & I were there a week ago tonight (sigh...) and had a WONDERFUL window table for two-great view of the castle! :wizard:
