We ate at 'Ohana tonight (2/6).

Me, my wife and two daughters (17 & 21).

Had 8:45 ressie was seated at 8:15.

Salad: Good as ever.
Wings: Good as ever.
Potstickers: Good, not as good as the shrimp potstickers years ago.
Steak: Very good for buffet offering.
Chicken: Very good. Tender. Not as good as the Turkey which according to the waitress isn't coming back.
Pork: Good as ever.
Shrimp: Excellent as ever.
Bread pudding: Good as ever.

Re: The shrimp, we ate probably 40 (I love this shrimp) and only 0ne (1) was not properly deveined.

Service was friendly from one of our two servers although both were efficient.

The meats: None of the meat was dry.

Great meal.

Thanks for the review. Last year (2010) we enjoyed the meats much more than in 2006. I thought the turkey was dry and the steak tough (in 2006) but there was so much else to enjoy - it's not like we went hungry!

But in 2010, I loved the shrimp and ate tons of it. The steak was good/tender. I really can't remember the chicken at all! HA HA! ... it might have been the mai tai I had -- If we do end up going in 2011 over our anniversary I am thinking of 'Ohana again! Glad you had a good visit there! :thumbsup2

.... in looking back at a review I did - last year they still had turkey on the grill and didn't bring it right away - by the time they did, I was too full so didn't taste it. So that's why I don't remember chicken!

The first time I went to Ohana, they still had the turkey (Feb. 2010), bu thonestly, I didn't care for it... came out rather dry.

2nd time I went (Sept. 2010), they had made the transition to the chicken and I thought it was great! I didn't care for the rub on the pork this time around, but with everything else that comes with this meal, I didn't miss the pork. :-) Hubby ate a million shrimp!! I swear, I thought he was going to run them dry the way he went through them!

Ohana is one of my favorites... not just for the food, but the fun atmosphere. Where else can your kids enjoy racing with a broom and a coconut?! :)

Are the noodles gone? I loved them last year. I hope they are still there, we will be there in may and i am really looking forward to them

LOL. E&A's Mom and I are having a spirited discussion about these on another thread.

The noodles are still there. I forgot to review them as they aren't my favorite BUT all three of my family members loved them.:thumbsup2

Thanks for the review. We will be doing O'hana for the first time this June. We are really looking forward to it!
