We ate at O'Hana last week. We were seated in a timely fashion after only about a 10 minute wait.

There were 5 in our party. DH, me, DS11, DS7 and DS4.

The salad was really good with the dressing. The shrimp and wings okay.

For the main course we were served the potatoes and veggies and then waited and waited for some meat to go with it. We tried one piece of each meat. All the meat was good but not very warm.

The kids got to do the coconut races and there was the singer.

When we got back from the coconut race dessert was on the table. For 5 people there was one little slice of bread pudding and one scoop of ice cream. The two smaller kids also got one scoop of ice cream in a bowl. I was thinking that my DS11 could eat that one piece all to himself, let alone have to share among the 5 of us. When the waitress stopped by and asked how it was, I told her I didn't know as there wasn't enough to go round. So she bought some more out, this time a decent portion of bread pudding but only one scoop of ice cream. Very disappointing. Honestly the bread pudding was terrible. Just a big lump of tasteless goo. Nothing like I've ever had before or made myself.

DS7 and DS4 didn't eat anything other than a little dessert. Good thing it was free other wise I'd be kind of mad to pay all that money for them to eat nothing.

Service: 3 out of 5 stars
Food: 3 out of 5 stars.

Everything was just okay, nothing great and I could have done better myself. Would not eat there again.

Wow...so sorry to hear yet another poor review of Ohana. This is one of our favorite TS meals and I'm really anxious to see how it goes when we're there in a few weeks. I LOVE the potatoes, and the bread pudding with the bananas foster sauce is my favorite in WDW. Oh well....it seems there is ALWAYS one or two TS places that gather most of the negative comments. I think guests complain enough to get it fixed, then you hear about somewhere else that is "terrible". This time, it seems Le Cellier and Ohana are on the rotation for bad reviews;) . Also, everyone has different tastes, so you just never know.
I'm sorry your experience wasn't so great, but I still look forward to our meal there! Thanks for the review!:)

DH and I just ate there on 9/29 and it was WONDERFUL...we were seated at 5pm and everything came out tasty and warm. No wait for the meat and it was hot. I love the dessert - bread pudding topped with vanilla ice cream and butterscotch sauce that was warm...and we asked for seconds...no problem...all you want. This is our favorite restaurant.

I know that the restaurants were all booked solid, so perhaps that is why you had a bad experience...too busy. But for us, it was great.

Oh wow, sorry to hear you didn't have a great meal, we always have a great meal there, I love their wings. I would have asked for 2nds on that dessert!

This was our first night arrival dinner. It was awesome for us, my husband loved it so much he begged me to get another reservation before we left. I could not it was booked solid our whole stay. My husband had three helpings of the shrimp he was sooo stuffed when we walked out the door. The bread pudding was good but I was expecting more really but all in all a very good time. The pork was our favorite and the salad was very good, we didn't touch the veggies.

Thanks for the review, sorry to hear it was disappointing. We have an ADR for January but I'm thinking about changing it. Still can't decide if we should just try it for ourselves or skip it due to bad reviews. We haven't been there in a few years.

Our family of 5 had dinner at O'Hana on Sept 28 and thought it was great!

For one thing, we had a wonderful table by the windows with a premiere view of the castle. I appreciate the family-style service over a buffet and the food service starts immediately. I barely got to try the chicken wings because I was so busy with the shrimp and wonton chips with 3 different dipping sauces. My absolute favorite part of the meal was the salad - I must have had 4 servings - at least! I also enjoyed the au gratin potatoes. As for the meats - I probably can't provide a fair opinion because I'm just not a huge fan of meat. DH is the meat-eater of our family. And when he mentioned that the beef was too well-done and that the sausage was cold, our waitress immediately returned with beef a little more rare and hot sausage.
I'll admit, I was expecting the bread pudding for dessert to be much better - especially after reading some of the reviews here. I make bread pudding myself with a Jack Daniels sauce, and O'Hana's was not nearly as good.

My 3 sons enjoyed the limbo and coconut races and I feel the female singer/dancer adds a nice festive touch of entertainment.

I give O'Hana a big :thumbsup2 !!

Sorry you didn't have a great experience! We ate there a few weeks ago and it was our favorite place! They brought our food out so fast, we ran out of room on our plate. I had to make myself stop eating the bread pudding. I thought I would get sick I ate so much.

We did have a rather late reservation, so maybe that is why our service was so speedy! They must have been ready to get us in and out of there!:rotfl:

We ate there on the 24th for a late seating. The food was fine. We did order extra shrimp, salad and potatoes. They did take some time with the second requests but did bring them. The meats were fine, but some were not very hot. I made my meal mostly on the shrimp and salad.
