It’s not just the airline tickets that are expensive there! Housing is a different ballgame entirely!

It’s not much, but I can afford a builder grade starter home AND a 14 acre hobby farm and farmhouse outside WA. That said…it’s going to be -20F here tomorrow. So there are compromises. lol.

Same, If I had not left CA we would not be where we are today with anything let alone DVC.

If I had the means, I’d definitely be on the west coast still as a third gen Washingtonian. I’m just saying I didn’t have that option! So had to opt for cheaper locales I could afford. It turned out to be a blessing for me and I’ve had a lot of opportunity here.

We have to stay here because of my wife's job, but im not complaining! I dont think id be happy somewhere else. I dont live in a major city so I like that too, I would not want to live in LA, just visit
