Ohana Rehersal Dinner

My FDH is very interested in having our rehersal dinner at ohana. Did anyone have thiers there? Do you have any photos or comments you can share? THANKS

We had our rehearsal dinner at ‘Ohana, and it worked out wonderfully. All the men loved the all you can eat meat on skewers!

The restaurant works very well since it is easy for them to accommodate large groups by lining up tables in the center section in front of the fire pit. Plus, it has a great casual atmosphere.

I will say that the menu has recently changed, so I don’t know if the food is as good as it used to be or not. It has been getting some mixed reviews on the restaurants board. You can see the new menu at: http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menu_oh.htm.

Hi Kammie,

I was thinking the same thing about 'Ohana! My fiance and I are staying at the Polynesian Resort, and just love the whole atmosphere of the hotel so we were thinking about having our rehearsal dinner there too (plus its soo close to the Pavilion where, hopefully, our rehearsal will be). Ill be looking for any helpful responses! When is your wedding? Where are you having it??

I am getting married June 20, 2006, at the wedding pavillion with cocktails and reception at boardwalk's st james and marvin garden rooms. Before the wedding I am staying at the G.F., so Ohana would be perfect for us too!!

Aww Great!! That sounds like such a nice time!!! We are getting married Monday August 21st. Ours will be at the Wedding Pavilion and our reception is at Ariel's at the Beach Club. How many people are you having??

I think im going to go with 'Ohanas as my reshersal dinner. I have 4 Kids and 24 Adults in total so does anyone know how much this is going to cost me?? Its not for ages yet i just want to start planning!

I found some information about 'Ohana dinner costs online. I went to www.wdinfo.com. The Adult dinner costs $24.99 pp (I think its buffet style - includes shrimp and vegetable wontons, honey chicken wings, salad with honey lime dressing, stir fried vegetables, rice, marinated sirlion steak, mesquite seasoned turkey breast, Bar-B-Qu pork loin, grilled tiger shrimp) plus they offer a variety of desserts, all about $5.00 pp. The children's menu is for children 3-9 years old, offers a similiar menu as the adult menu, and costs $10.99.

Drinks are all sold separately.

Just got back from our FTW trip and we had our rehearsal at Ohana's on 10/17. EVERYONE had a GREAT time!! The food was GREAT and the atmosphere was fun too!! I'll post some pictures when I get the chance.

Actually they got rid of the tiger shrimp (my favorite ) and replaced them with sausages for some reason
