Ohana? Really?

I was just able to switch our breakfast day after trying for the past several days. Not sure about dinner but it looks like the breakfast glitch has been fixed.

Someone mentioned earlier there may be a "system glitch". That may be true, but in my mind I would be willing to bet the bigger issue is the amount of folks who are double/multiple booking ADRs. Not sure if you want to eat at 'Ohana or Kona....folks are simply booking both.

Book a reservation, and then try to book another reservation for the same date and time. When booking the second reservation the system will provide a notice stating you have a duplicate ADR for the same time and ask if you want to cancel the first reservation or keep both. There is no incentive not to double book as the current system doesn't prevent it from happening. IMHO, that is why it is difficult to secure ADRs for places like 'Ohana even though people try to make reservation 180 days prior to their trip.

(Bolding mine). This doesn't happen anymore. As of last week it now forces you to either cancel the existing one or not make the new one. Duplicate reservations (for legitimate reasons) will then be handled via phone directly with a CM.

'Ohana dinner is now (and has been for a little while) the #1 tougest ADR to get. It's surpassed both Le Cellier and CRT by quite a bit. Would be nice if they opened it up for lunch, since the dinner has become so outrageously popular.

We just switched from POP with the QSDP to the CBR with RDP today. I was able to get everything I wanted except Ohana's. There is a ton open for 1900 park fare but nothing for Ohana's. I think the system is having issues again.

Great...I'm glad they changed the system. But what about the double bookings that occurred prior to the new update to the system?

I'm curious if Disney will start sending out notices for folks to cancel their double bookings or else they will be cancelled by Disney themselves?

Is anyone else trying for 11/20? We are staying offsite so we can't look at 11/20 until tomorrow. If anyone else is staying onsite and is in the 180+10, I'd love if you'd let me know if there is any availability. It doesn't look good at this point. I did check 11/19 and am showing nothing. :sad2:

I've been trying a few times a day every day for 'Ohana to see when the glitch was fixed. Happy to say that I finally got my reservation for the date I wanted just now! So excited! Can not wait to try it! It is also now showing several times available throughout our stay!:cool1:

I'm going the same time as the OP and I got Ohana dinner with no problem. I wasn't even booking 180+10 for that part of my stay because we'll be at Shades of Green for part of our trip. It seems like recently parties larger than 6 have been having lots of issues but now you also can't book a split of your party at one meal because of the duplicate policy. We are a party of two and I had my choice of times.

I was able to get two Ohana dinner reservations for November 22th, and 26th both for parties of 8 this morning so hopefully whatever the glitch was, it is fixed for everyone. Good luck!

There has been no reported (or official) change for the existing reservations, only the ones moving forward. So while it may not help for reservations made before that date, it should help prevent it for future ones. Though, I'd venture to guess that some who are multi-booking after that date (who may already have multi-booked beforehand) would also fall under the new screen.

Now, if they could only fix the "odd number" issue, we'd be set :p. (Stupid system not recognizing tables for 1 (or 3, or 5...)!)

I am also having this problem - can't get Ohana for dinner the entire 8 nights we will be there. We are going at the end of September.

It's quite possible that those dates are fully booked. It's at the end of Free Dining and lots of people book those dates for the cooler weather and Free Dining.

I booked my ADR's back on April 1st.
