We have never gone to Ohana before and are thinking about having breakfast there on our next trip! Is breakfast buffet-style or ordered off a menu? Are Lilo and Stich always there? When they are there, do they do a pretty good job of making it around to all the tables?
:goodvibes

Neither buffet nor menu - it is a fixed menu meal served family style and you will be given more of anything if you ask for it.

The food at both breakfast and dinner are served family style. All food and drinks are brought to your table. The characters make their way around all the tables. Last year, Pluto was so fast and impatient that I didn't even have a chance to take pictures of him with my children. He waived and left. Lilo and Stitch were there and were great with the kids.

I love, love, love 'Ohana for breakfast! The food has always been very good and plentiful. (The eggs and potatoes were SUPER good when we were there at the end of Feb.) We have also always had wonderful character interaction. I especially love seeing Mickey in his Hawaiian shirt. :) I also really enjoy watching the kids do the parade with the characters. :goodvibes

I think that we have had the best character interaction at O'Hana breakfast than at any other character meal!

The food was delicious - and the best of both worlds! I enjoy having a lot of options without having to get up and go to a buffet. We don't have kids yet, but I imagine that the family style makes this character meal much easier so you aren't getting up and down for food. We went at the beginning of January, and our character interaction was fantastic. The characters spent lots of time at our table and lots of time at the tables around us. They have a parade through the restaurant as well. We didn't participate, but the kids and parents seemed to enjoy it. When we were there, we saw Mickey, Pluto, Lilo and Stitch.

'Ohana is our favorite character breakfast. We love the food and we have always gotten great character interaction. Last time we were there Pluto lay on the floor for DS to scratch his belly. DD danced around with Lilo and played maracas in the parade.

We did the breakfast last September, we stayed at the Poly so it was our most convenient option for a breakfast. The food was delicious, I liked the fact that it wasn't a buffet. My kids still talk about how good the juice was, it was more than just o.j., mango or papaya or something in it, very delicious. They came out with hot, fresh Mickey Waffles too, soooo good!

As far as characters, they were great, but we had a really odd experience. We were right next to a large table of about 10-12 people. I am not exaggerating, all four characters went to that table first, completely skipped us and kept moving on through the restaurant. We just mentioned it to the waiter, he told the character manager and we had all four visit us in rapid succession. They apologized profusely, in fact, the character manager was very shocked. We think it had something to do with the fact that the other table was so large. It worked out fine, and this is in fact the one breakfast my DS9 has requested to go back to.

Another nice thing about this breakfast is as far as prices go, it is a little more reasonable than some of others. And after breakfast, just hop on the monorail and head to MK!

Is fruit available for both the little one as well as the adults. Both DH and DS LOVE fruit and DS is very picky and that is pretty much the extent of what he ate on our last trip.

Yes. The food is family style so you share everything. :) The fruit is wonderful! Three kinds of melon and grapes. Yum!

Ohana brkfst is a favorite of ours. The characters are Mickey, Pluto, Lilo & Stitch. We've always had great character interaction at Ohana, especially with Pluto & Stitch who are quite a riot!

Another yeah vote for Ohana. From a previous post, that juice was great. This was one of the best (and cheapest) breakfasts.

When we were there for breakfast in 2006, only Stitch was there. We were disappointed because we had seen Stitch twice already and wanted to see Lilo. I believe either Lilo's "friend" was sick that day, or she had already left for another engagement, since we had a very late ADR for breakfast.

We were also not impressed by the food at breakfast. Much of it was cold. Again, I think it was because we were there for a very late ADR. We much preferred dinner.

The meal is served Family style! I have never before heard that Lilo was not there?:confused3

Ohanas Best Friends breakfast is the Best!
We've ate there 3 different trips and the characters have
always been fun and they take their time.
I really liked the atmosphere at OBFB better than at CM
it felt more relaxing and not as loud. I liked the Family Style
service because it's only your family that touches the food,
I hate buffets. We had pleanty to eat.
We arrived early to our ADRs last trip and we got seated early
which is nice. I think you will really enjoy eatting at OBFB.

We've eaten at this breakfast several times, 4 to be exact. Lilo was MIA once. As the hostess led us to our table, she said "Lilo's out surfing today, so she won't be joining us" which I thought was a cute way of saying she wasn't there. That was the only time any of the characters were missing.

Hi, Ohana really is a nice place for family breakfast. The characters are all around the table and kids enjoy it a lot. It’s a better place for kids.

This will be our fourth time to eat at Ohana's Breakfast this time. We LOVE IT! The characters are great. The food is amazing and you can just sit and watch the action. The kids dance around in a conga line with maracas and the characters. It is so much fun. Love this place. It is a must do for all of us.
