Hi
I realize a kids menu at wdw is 3-9. My step brother only likes chicken nuggets and pizza, but he is 10. The ohana adult menu does not sound appealing to him. What can I do about this?

If your brother likes meat, he will like the food here. It is very basic and even our EXTREMELY picky travel companion (age 10) likes it.

But---I have heard from others on this board that the waitstaff will get specialty items for children who don't like the food. Anyone here had that experience?

I asked and my son got chicken nuggets and fries, whatever Kona has on their menu he can get. They don't offer a choice just tell them he wont eat anything offered. Also for dessert than can have just vanilla icecream if they would rather not have the bread pudding

My daughter got macaroni and cheese. We just asked. I'm sure they will get something for him he'll like.

I called and they added a note to our ADR that my 11 yr old could order an alternate dinner, such as hot dog or chicken strips, like a Kosher meal.

They will most likely get him something else if you ask, but I would be prepared for that to be an expensive "kids" meal. Since he is 10 they will most likely still charge him the adult price for 'Ohana.

I'm also guessing that if you ask they will get him some chicken nuggets - but you'll be charged the regular adult price.

They don't specifically offer an alternate menu for either adults or children - you need to ask.
