Ohana or WCC?

We are a large party...4 adults and 5 children. 4 boys, ages: 6, 6, 5 and 2 and a girl, age 4.

For those who have dined at both Ohana or WCC which restaurant would you suggest for our group during our October trip?

I would suggest 'Ohana. When we were there this past summer, all the kids in the restaurant were having such a fun time with the coconut races, hoola lessons, etc. The person who organizes the kids' games also walks around with a ukelele and sings Hawaiian songs. Even my two teenaged DSs enjoyed watching the little kids participate in the activities and listening to the ukelele player

P.S. I have dined at 'Ohana twice for dinner. First time it was a woman who organized the games and sang. Second time it was a man. I preferred the man because the woman's voice was loud and shrill and really got on my nerves after a while. lol The man's voice reminded me a bit of Don Ho, and seemed much more "Hawaiian" for some reason. Fans of the woman, don't blast me. She was a lot of fun for the kids, but I just preferred the man

We ate at both for the first time on our last trip. Personally I preferred the food and ambience and Ohana better. My children liked the food at WCC better. My 9 year old felt comfortable taking part in the coconut races at Ohana, but did not want to do the pony races at WCC. I felt that Ohana was a lot more relaxing and WCC was more interactive.

We have never eaten at O'hanas, but we ate dinner at WCC on our 1st night of our last WDW vacation, and it was great! The food was really good (we don't eat alot of "fancy" food), and the staff was alot of fun! The interaction is great, and my kids still talk about the fun they had at WCC!!! And the last trip my kids were at was in Nov. 2002!!!! Definitly worth the drive/ride over to WL!! And WL is a beautiful resort to tour. We had a few minutes before being seated, so they gave us a buzzer and we explored the lobby and pool area. Hope this helps a little! Have a great trip!

We prefer Ohana over WCC.

I tried Ohana's last week for the first time....I think WCC is still my favorite family restuarant.....

haven't tried the new menu at Ohana but wasn't impressed with the old..couldn't hear or see anything due to sound problems and being shoved into no man's land in the back.think it is only a couple games for kids.bad service soso food

wcc skillet meal soso( no worse than Ohana's) plated meals very good to excellent. more fun for entire family. service good, some servers more into "games " than others but overall more involment rest. wide for entire family

wouldn't go back to Ohana's have been back and will return to WCC
