Ohana or Luau?

Hi! First time posting. I am going with a family of 9 in October. Staying at Poly and my mom definately wants to go to the Luau.

I am looking for a first night dinner idea. I was thinking Ohana since we will all be tired from traveling but is it too much like the Luau?

I didnt like much the Luau (expensive), but I Ohana.

I always wanted to try the Luau (even though it doesn't get rave reviews), but have avoided it becasue I know it is cancelled for bad weather. now you have twodining credits to fill up, fit into your schedule, (provided you can even get ressies at that late time)

The menus are different enough that you should be okay.

The only issues with the Luau are the chance that it will be cancelled and the cost.

The only issue with 'Ohana is getting a reservation. If you want to go there on your first day I would recommend you make a reservation now.
