I am trying to book our dining for our Nov visit.

Dad (me): open to anything, loves meat and seafood
Mom: Vegetarian
Twin 8 year old girls: willing to try most foods. Like Chicken and salads

Looking for great food!

Both restaurants are amazing, but I think that Ohana's will be a better choice for your family! Ohana's has many options! You get bread, salad, chicken wings, noodles, vegetables, steak, shrimp, pork, lamb, and bread pudding with ice cream! (I think that's what the dessert is called!) Those are the only things I can think of, but you CAN NOT go wrong with Ohana's! :thumbsup2

If you haven't booked Ohana yet for November it may be very difficult to get a ressie. Unless it's really late at night.

I agree with PP- you should try to get an ADR at Ohana. Kona is good too, but Ohana is awesome!!

While I've only eaten at 'Ohana- I think Kona is a better option for breakfast food wise and 'Ohana rules for dinner food. 'Ohana also has better atmospher. Dinner at 'Ohana has become a very difficult ADR. If that's what you want, take what you can get and then stalk the dining website to see if a better time comes up. We didn't plan our Aug trip until about 145 days out and the best I was initially able to get at 'Ohana was a 9:40pm slot, but I checked multiple times per day every day for weeks and finally landed an 8:15pm.

I think O'Hana! It is definately the best for dinner. I've never really liked anything I've gotten at Kona but we've never been there for breakfast either. The last time we were at WDW we tried O'Hana and now my husband thinks that it is a MUST for every trip. We have even given up a reservation at a different restaurant so that my husband could eat at O'Hana twice!

Ohana is very hard to get a reservation for but you should definitely try it if you come across one! The food comes out family style and there's so much to chose from. Also, there's usually some entertainment going on for the kids like limbo, coconut races, hula dancing, etc.
