Probably one of the hardest match ups to vote on!
Hoop Dee Doo's food is good, but Ohana's food is awesome - best meal we had during our last trip. I really enjoy the Poly atmosphere too - that would be the Deluxe for me if I could afford it.
That said... I really enjoy the ambience of Fort Wilderness - it just seems so friendly and home-y to me, so I really enjoy taking a quick trip over there to see HDDR. The show is great, and even more unique since the Diamond Horseshoe in the MK closed up.
Show wise, HDDR wins hands down, of course, but Ohana does has some stuff going on for the kids.
I'm also more afraid that HDDR will disappear from WDW long before Ohana does. I hope I'm wrong, but it's just been there so long, and we all know how things get rotated out fairly quickly at WDW.
The downside to HDDR is its cost if you are on the Dining Plan, since it's two credits. But, it gives you a nice excuse to poke around FortW, look at the horses, and find the lawnmower tree!
Fort Wilderness does not allow cars inside. You can park at one end and take the internal FortW bus to the lake-end of the resort, or you can take a boat from the MK or MK resorts directly to the HDDR end of Fort Wilderness. We always opt for the boat because it's more fun and scenic (plus we tend to abandon the car the minute we get to our resort).
Either way, you'll have a great dinner experience! Try both if you can fit them in!
