Planning our first trip with the dining plan. I think to character meals might be to much. Which one would you pick. It's me, DH 41, DS 9 and DS 6. They both sound neat. Also, is two, two many. We're planning on Hoop de Doo also.

Help :confused3

IMO you can never have too many character meals. Especially if you have younger kids. We love Ohana breakfast, food is very good, as is service and it's all sit down instead of buffet....which is very nice. HDDR is wonderful also if your looking for something non character. It's alot of fun and it's a must do for us every trip. :)

We liked 'Ohana's much better. It was much less hectic than CM and they bring the food to you (CM is buffet). There is much more of a variety at CM since it is a buffet, but when we went the food was just o.k.

Everyone's tastes and experiences are different, for some CM is a must do.

We did five character meals this year, next year I am only planning two. O.K., maybe three if my DD6 can talk me into sneaking over to 'Ohana's without the rest of the family! ;) I find they usually take much longer that a regular meal, and since we have already done so many over the years we decided to cut back this time.

I agree with the previous posters. We love Ohana's breakfast. The family style meals are much more relaxing than the buffets. We are doing like 5 or 6 character meals when we go in a few weeks.

is 2 too many? absolutely not! It is me and my husband going and we have 5 character meals for our upcoming trip :goodvibes it's not only that we like the restaurants, but the character interaction as well. This trip we aren't doing Chef Mickey's but we are definitely doing Ohana. I love it there!!!!!

IS this for dinner or breakfast.Ohana's only has a character breakfast. But I like their dinner better. I would choice breakfast at CM but dinner is also very good. Also both meal have characters at CM. Also there is no such thing as too many character meals at Disney. We have 3 planned this coming trip.LTT,CM,1900( A character for everyone.)and we are doing dinner at ohanas(my kids Fav.

If you're going with kids....you can never do too many character meals. I think the food is better at Ohana but, my DGDs can't miss CM. They absolutely love it!

We did both on our first trip and began with CM. It started off our trip with the classic characters. Especially with children, it is a must IMHO. Our next trip will begin with the same. DH and I liked Ohanas for dinner. It was relaxing, but the kids loooooooved CM and all of the character interaction. Frankly, we did too.:thumbsup2

You can never have too many character meals.
