I was excited to get 'Ohana even though I had no intentions of eating there until I realized how popular it is...lol. Now a 1900 Park Fare ressie has popped up, and I'm trying to decided which would be better. My DD will be 4 a week from tomorrow but we already have CRT booked for her. We would like good food and some entertainment for her. TIA!

DD loved both but really loved Ohana's! She still talks about the coconut races! I liked it better since we can all stay seated and not have the up and down of going to the buffet!:wizard:

While the entertainment at 1900 PF is great the food is anything but..I would go with Ohana

The food at 1900 is sub-par, average-at-best - the highlight is the characters, especially the stepsisters who are hilarious.

Ohaha is one of our favorite places - love the polynesian atmosphere & the food is very good. There is also usually some form of entertainment such as coconut races, hula dancing lessons, limbo contests, etc.

Characters at 1900 Park Fare are great, but the food is "meh", and if you're doing CRT, then your DD will already have the princesses covered.

Our DDs love Ohana. It is our one "must do" on every trip. The hula lessons, coconut races, etc. are wonderful entertainment, especially for that age. And PP is right, it is really nice not to have to get up and down to go to a buffet...plus the food is AWESOME.

At 1900 PF not only is the food here geared up a bit for adults to enjoy, but they have great selections for the kids. Also, I think the characters at 1900 are better for interaction. They tend to spend more time at your table. I would recommend 1900 PF.

As much as I love 1900 Park Fare, I loved Ohana's more. I think you'll love going to Ohana's.

1900 Park Fare you only go for the Characters.. food is just GROSS! I would still go to park fare but given the choice between the two... NO CONTEST... OHANA! Enjoy! We are there in 4 weeks for dinner!!

Definetly go to Ohana. You can meet the stepsisters and Lady Tremaine at the Magic Kingdom. The food at 1900 Park Fair is really really bad and even the characters don't make it worth it. This is one time to listen to most of the opinions here and on allears- this is not a personal taste thing, it is a fact-1900 Park Fair is awful.

Ohana is much more fun and the food is usually pretty tasty!

Thanks everyone. I knew there was a reason I chose not to book 1900 Park Fare in the beginning. I think the step-sisters would be so much fun to see, but not if we have to sacrifice food quality. I've heard good and not so good things about 'Ohana so hopefully having an early ressie (5:15PM) will make it a good experience :).

I'm sorry, but I stand by my opinion of 1900 PF. You're food choices are restricted at Ohana. Your choices are more varied at 1900. And no the food is not gross in my opinion. I would love to know why people are saying that.

They have a nice salad bar selction, bread selection, dessert selection, and the other hot items include italian pasta dishes, chicken marsala, steamship round, and ham carving station, steamed veggies, and many other hot dish selections. The kids station is quite good as well.

We ate at the Park Fare for dinner with Cinderella. The food was nice, the strawberry soup is the weirdest thing i have ever tasted! But nice! But the wicked step sisters Anastacia and Drizella made the evening for me. They are so entertaining and funny! I highly recommend it!

I know me too?:confused3

We have enjoyed dinner about four times in the past two years at 1900 and breakfast more times than I can count. I know some people on this thread don't care for it and I respect that, however if that experience is based on just one visit, bear in mind all WDW restaurants have their off nights. We aren't picky but we also don't enjoy eating gross food!

I think either choice is great, we have enjoyed both. Although I think the entertainment at 1900 is better and there is far more variety. One thing to note about Ohana. If you have a child that is picky, they will bring you standard children's food and not charge extra.

1900 park fare is amazing! The food is great and the character interactions are outstanding!! We have gone 3 times now and evertime the food and interactions have been consistent and wonderful. The prince, step sisters, step mother, and cind. all dance with the kids at certain part of the meal and spend a good amount of time with the kids. This so far is my favorite character dinning in wdw. It blows crt out of the water.
