We were at O'hana's on 5/19. The noodles we were served were very yummy! They said they would give out recipes but, in my overfed stupor, I forgot to ask.

I am finding lots of recipes for stir-fried noodles but I don't think that's what we got. The photos look nothing alike and I don't think there were vegies in our noodles - maybe onion but I don't remember anything else. They were served with brocolli - but I know how to make that!

Have the noodles changed and if so does anyone have an updated recipe?

Thanks for any insight!

Yep, found that one but I really don't think that's what we were served. Oh well - I guess we'll have to go back! Of course by then O'hana will probably change their menu :)...

Thanks!

Those noodles are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! We ordered a second helping, and at Ohana, they serve enough food! I don't think the info on the allears.net is up to date. Here's a pic: http://thedailydisney.com/blog/2010/03/stir-fried-noodles-from-ohana-at-the-polynesian-resort/ This is definitely not the ones they are serving now! We were there (again) Thurs., and there was some purple cabbage in them, and they didn't taste peanutty. I think the soy sauce-sugar is part of it, but I need to know the rest!! Everyone at our table was in love with them :lovestruc Anyone know who to contact for the info? I have heard WDW will give out recipes if asked.........

I too fell in love with the noodles at Ohana two years ago. I tried (to a tee) the recipe posted previously and they tasted nothing like the noodles at Ohana. I am a pretty decent cook too and it wasn't a matter of not cooking the food properly--the sauce at the restaurant just didn't taste of any peanuts to me at all. The recipe is OK, but not at all on par (or even similar really) with what you get when you eat there. I have to remember to ask for the official recipe and see if it's what's been posted or something different when we're there in 3 weeks.

Ahhh, 'Ohana. The biggest problem with this restaurant is fitting it all in.

Do I order more of the wings? What about dumplings and the noodles? Darn it, even the bread and salad are good. And all of this knowing that you need to leave some room for at least two orders of the bread pudding.:worship:

People, complain about the meat being too dry but in some ways that is a good thing. This trip I think I'll stick to the steak and leave room for everything else.

This! I could eat just all the other stuff besides the meat for days! I was so stuffed leaving that place my only regret was not finding room for more desert!

TWO ORDERS?? How'd you do that?? DH, DD, and I between us had eaten so much of everything else that we couldn't quite manage to finish off the first order of bread pudding with Banana Foster sauce.

Oh, and it was our anniversary - we had barely begun to attack it when they brought out cupcakes with lit candles! God bless the CM who saw us looking helplessly between our full plates of bread pudding and the cupcakes, and brought us 2 plastic to-go clamshells to hold the cupcakes. They made a great breakfast the next morning......:thumbsup2

We ate there about 3 weeks ago. The noodles we got came on the appetizer tray with the pot stickers and the chicken wings, not during the meal with the broccoli. There were no veggies in them at all - pure sticky noodles, absolutely wonderful for a few mouthfuls between different types of meats/sauces. I'm sure there was some kind of sauce but it was very subtle and not at all 'drippy'.
