Ohana noodle question

Are the noodles at Ohana's in a peanut sauce?
I get severe migranes from peanuts and just wanted to check!

According to the menus on allears.net, YES the noodles are in a peanut sauce.

It doesn't taste like they are in peanut sauce.
There is a peanut sauce served on the side for dipping your meats. Maybe this is what was meant on allears.

I just went on to allears and it does state a peanut sauce and pineapple. I know for a fact I have never had the noodles with pineapple. Has Ohana changed their noodles since last February?

No, it's always said that, as far as I can remember. But when we had them they definitely did not have peanut sauce. They were more like a typical lo mein.

Also, just double checked a review from someone who was there last week and she says they're like lo mein noodles. In the photo, no pineapple.

When you book reservations on line they ask if you have any allergies. If you do it over the phone, I would let them know about the allergies. I am sure the Chef makes special requests regarding allergies all the time.

That's why I asked!
I saw a recipe for the noodles and it didn't have peanut sauce but the allears site says peanut sauce.

I'm not allergic to the point that I can't eat things process on machines that process peanuts but as I mentioned if I actually eat peanuts (or fake sugar for that matter) I will get a killer migrane within half an hour and it could last for several days!

I will just mention it when we check in and skip the noodles if need be.

We were just there in August. I have some severe food allergies, but not peanuts. A Chef came out to discuss my allergies and though they never mentioned it, I don't believe it contains any peanut sauce (the lo mein noodles that is).

I was there last week and yes theyre like lo mein. no pineapple. mine were kinda dry thou. couldve used more sauce. Didnt taste like peanut sauce to me but who knows. Lol. Posted from DISboards.com App for Android

There is a peanut sauce to dip in, but not in the noodles.

I am not a fan of peanut butter and did not taste anything like it in the noodles.. just a lo mein type.

The chefs at Ohana are great with allergies... I too get migraines from food.

I've never had pineapple with my noodles had wouldn't say they taste of peanut, more Mapley. As many have posted you get a side dish of peanut dipping sauce.
