We just returned from our annual trip to WDW. We like to enjoy nice dinners and always make a couple of reservations to take advantage of relaxing over a good meal. Ohana is one that we really look forward to. This time we had ADRs at 9:30 p.m. for a 10 p.m. Wishes view. The evening started great... great company - my husband, me and our two teenage daughters, a before dinner drink at Tambu Lounge, moving onto a great table in the main dining room next to the window ... life was good! However, from there, it went rapidly south. Service was the worst we ever received anywhere in WDW and the meal was terrible. Steak was raw, shrimp were too spicy (and I like spicy) and the noodles had a funky dirty feet taste to them. All in all, I think I could have muddled through with the meal without being totally annoyed - the bread, salad, broccoli, chicken and, of course, dessert were very good! However, the two servers we had were terrible and we will not return for some time after this last experience. We contemplated over saying something to the manager but when we were leaving he was with another table (who had our same two servers....hmmm....). Our teenage girls just wanted to leave and were asking not to say anything - I wanted to show them that the evening was not even close to "standard" and that talking with the manager was not a bad thing - if done correctly and not in a yelling confrontation manner. We decided to leave it alone - thank goodness we don't have many of these evenings!
