Ohana Menu Changes

I wish we were rushed just once at any Disney restaurant.

We've never gotten out of Ohana's in under two hours.

It's not that I don't believe posters who say they were "rushed" some place at WDW, but we've never experienced that. If anything, it's the opposite--the TS meals can take way too long.

I also have an early ADR and do not want to be rushed. This will be our first time here. I have heard that you are allowed to ask for seconds of things but then I have read about alot of people that have asked and never received them. So can you get seconds of something and do they usually accomodate you?

I was just there this past Sunday and they asked if we wanted seconds and people came around with the skewers offering additional portions several times. I can't see it being a problem at all. Have fun.

'Ohana is one we are definitely planning to eat at on our next trip, probably in 2013 or 2014...

I would just truthfully tell my server that my little daughter has to be the slowest eater on the planet, and we'll be trying to pace our eating based on her, so don't rush us. :rotfl: She really is slooooowwwww.

SOMErestaurants are trying out new menu items and there will be some menu changes in the upcoming weeks. Those changes are being tested and if they go over well might be implimented. IF OHana tests new dressing, try it. If you don't care for it, let your server know.

Our family ate at Ohana's on 9/23 and it was the honey lime dressing :)

We arrived about 15 minutes late as the monorail was having some issues :( We had to wait a short while. I was not thrilled with the check in desk area being far away from the the enterance to Ohana's, not sure when they moved that? Also the line to check in was very confusing 1 line for ADR's and 1 line for those without but no signs to actually tell you that.

We got a table right by the window in the main area and were served it a timely manner, no rushing at all. One of my kids recieved the fries as a side and the rest of us ate the regular menu. We were offered plenty of 2nds for those who wanted it :) I think we got 4 loaves of bread :)

There was a lady singing who came out 2 seperate times and played many different games and danced with the kids. She gave out lei's, in the past everyone at our table recieved one which didn't happen here (not a big deal by any means just sharing our experience)

Hope this info helps.

Ate there last Friday (8/26) and it was definitely the normal honey-lime dressing. We also weren't rushed at all and had a great time!!

Also wanted to say it again, the food is still great. And they have the best beer of any restaurant I ate at which is an IPA from hawaii. If you like microbrew type beers you will love it.

I don't drink beer, but would love to surprise DH and order him one. What is an IPA? Is it a light or dark color beer and what is it called? Thanks.

For those who just ate there were the noodles still the same?? :-)
They are now listed as egg noodles. Thanks!

Wondering if you remember the name of the beer?
