Ohana location?????

I know that Ohana is located at Disney's Polynesian Resort, is that part of the Disney parks? I am arriving in the afternoon and would like to have dinner at Ohana. Do I need to use a park pass to have dinner?

None of the resorts are inside a park, so you'll be fine. Just make sure you have a reservation at 'Ohana before you go.

yes, make sure you make the reservation before you go.

although OHana's is not in a park, it is beyond the gates for the ticket and transportation center. So, you will have to pull up to the parking ticket gates as though you are going to pay for a parking pass to Magic Kingdom. At the gate, you just tell them that you are there for a reservation at Ohana's. They'll look up your reservation on a list that they have, and direct you through. You will have to do the same thing once you get to the Polynesian resort. They will look you up for your reservation and give you a time-limited parking pass (something like 4 hours?? i think).

we enjoyed ohana's very much!!!! food was good. I recommend trying to get a reservation that will coincide with the fireworks at MK. They lower the lights and pipe the music into the restaurant to watch the fireworks.

If your reservation is earlier and finishes around the time of the fireworks, walk out back to the beach area, and watch the fireworks from there. There are speakers outside to hear the music from Wishes. DH and I did this last time that we were there with my godson (3yo). It was romantic. to lay on the lounge chairs and watch the fireworks. my godson played in the sand with shovels and buckets with some children who were sitting next to us that had invited him to play with them. After the fireworks is over, stay and watch the Electric Water Pageant. that is something that most people don't see or know about.
