Hi,

Is there a best place to sit for this breakfast? I've never been to the Poly at all so I don't have a clue.

I think I read something about a firepit in the middle of the room or ? Are there different rooms or size rooms like at Chef Mickey? How should we ask for the best place to sit?

Thanks!

It looked to me to be one large room. There was a small section to the right as you enter, then you pass the firepit and the rest of the room seemed to be open from there. We didn't see the whole room, because it seemed they were seating one section at the time. IThere didn't seem to be a seperate room like Chef Mickey's. We sat in a section that over looked the pool. It was really early in the morning in August and the windows were fogged over because of the air conditioner inside and the heat outside, but as it cleared there was a nice view of the Volcano pool. I didn't see a bad seat in the place, but they did seam very organized about the way they were seating people, more so than at Chef Mickey's, but as I say, we were there quite early and there were alot of open seats as they were just starting to seat people.

DH and I really enjoyed this meal, so far it is the only one we have eaten there. I am hoping to go back in June for my birthday.

There were only the 2 of us (adults) when we went and they sat us a at a little table near the window, we could see across the lake it was lovely.

A very relaxing breakfast, even in july!

Thanks both of you. I just want to sit in the middle of the action. Anybody else have any great hints or suggestions? Thank you all!

Not a seating question but a food one- I know it's server family style, but will they offer/ bring you seconds on the platter?

1st regarding the food: Yes they will bring you more. Sometimes they ask, sometimes you have to ask.

Regarding seating: There really is "No middle of the action" for breakfast. The characters are usually Lilo, Stitch, Mickey & Pluto. They walk around to all tables on rotation. You will get to meet all of them. They also will do a parade around the entire restaurant with the characters and the kids can get maracas to shake. The firepit area in the center isn't a factor at breakfast. No matter where you sit you will be part of the action.

The food and character interaction has always been good here for us. We're going back in May. Of course Stitch is my DD8 favorite character so that plays a factor too!:goodvibes

The best seats for any of the meals there IMHO is right at the window. We have been lucky to get a window seat everytime we have been there. You have a beautiful view of the castle. Only for dinner is there a middle of the action place and that is on the edges of the tile/wood floor. I would ask for a window seat as the characters will come to all the tables. I will be honest and say that this breakfast was our least favorite by far at WDW. My son loves stitch and even he doesn't want to go back there. That said dinner is great and an awful lot of fun.

HTH,
