Ohana late at night??? Food still good??

Hey All!

We might be moving a dinner reservation at Ohana to 9:40 at night. Do you think the food will still be good and fresh or do you think since it is almost the end of dinner that they would keep leftovers longer??

We have had several late 'Ohana dinners and always had fresh food. When it is just my husband and myself, we sometimes prefer the later dinners there.

The last time we ate at OHanna (two trips ago), we had a late reservation (after 9pm, as I recall).
It was horrible -- the meat food was dry, the service was less than desirable -- never brought seconds of some meats although we asked several times, tried to rush us through.

Because of that, we did not eat at O'Hanna last trip (11/09) and are on the fence about it for our upcoming trip (9/10).

Interesting. We have always had a great experience at OHana. I guess the food quality would depend on who the cooks are on any given night. Maybe we have just lucked out.

I just ate at O'Hana on 7/20 with a 9:30 p.m. ADR. The food was fresh and delicious. The meat was so good and better than the meat I had earlier in the week when we had a 5:00 p.m. ADR. Also, the restaurant at 9:30 was less crowded and I enjoyed the meal more. We also had the benefit of seeing the fireworks from our table. I would definitely not hesitate to book a later dinner here again in the future. Also, people were still being seated well after 10:00 that night.

We had a 9:40 last August and it was great, if a little quiet in the restaurant. We have two ADRs there for after 9pm in a few weeks.
