Not me. I normally like sausage, all kinds, but theirs was flavorless. I normally don't like bread pudding and was hesitant to even taste theirs, but OMG, I think I'd pay for dinner just to get the dessert!! It was absolutely delicious. Salad, wings, potatoes, bread pudding. That's all I need. I can't wait to go back!
We love Ohana's - the old and new way - but I prefer the new way. I can do pineapple and carmel sauce myself at home, no sweat, but I cannot make that fabulous bread pudding. LOVE THAT!!!!! Ya, that pineapple/carmel was good, but that's so easy it's nothing special. Same with the green beans. Love the potatoes.
As for the sausage.....DD7, the most picky eater in the world will eat it. Go figure. She eats that, some steak and the wonton chips.
WillCad, I have to agree. I have a pic of that deliciouness in my pre-trip report. Hands down the best dessert. I have ever had. That says alot. Because, I have been known to whip up plenty of delish dessert's myself. I hear alot of people ***plain about the old menu, versus the new. I have never eaten at Ohana' before last year. So, I could find no fault in it really. Except for the wonton chips. I can see that as a change, when the wonton's use to have a crab filling. But, to be honest. I rather pick that bread pudding anytime over pineapple spears, and caramel. As this is JMHO. I do recognize everyone is different. So, to each his, and her own.
