Ohana hype

That's right 'Ohana is horrible. Probably the worst place to eat on property. Tell all your friends. Then maybe I can get a reservation, one for each day I am there. :). My biggest problem with the place is I never have enough room for the desert, don't get me wrong I still manage to stuff it in, but I always regret it afterwards. Especially since I then have to go down to Capt Cooks for a Dole Whip.

:laughing::laughing::thumbsup2

Cant get in for one stupid dinner at all the two weeks we are there in December!:mad:

Exactly! :thumbsup2

I agree- 'Ohana for dinner isn't very good. We were also disappointed with our experience there. I ordered the vegetarian option and almost choked on the tofu- disgusting! :rotfl:
We found the Hawaiian singer a bit 'tacky', too. The meat was not very nice according to my family who eat meat.
We went at breakfast which was a lot nicer. We may consider going back for breakfast, but we won't try dinner again. ;)

Have to say we love 'Ohana, and enjoyed sharing it with new friends this past summer. And in December, we're bringing some family along -- hope they like it too! :woohoo:

We love the veggies, the pot stickers and the wings -- dinner could even stop there! But last time we got a rotten table, no entertainment EVER went by and the kids had to go off to the main area to participate in the activities. :sad2: We also didn't get the leis like the rest of the room.

Not to mix this up, but the Poly restaurant we do not get is Kona. Overpriced and overhyped, in our opinion.

So, what section should we (or should we not) request to make sure we aren't in the "bad section?" :confused3

This is probably my favorite resort restaurant at WDW! Always has been. Maybe we have just gotten lucky with the food & service. I can remember one time that it was crazy busy and our waiter was a little hard to find, but other than that, we LOVE it and must eat there every trip.

Just ate there for dinner last week and it was awesome! ADR was at 5 and we were one of the first pagers to go off, had a great window table and lots of hot and fresh food! I am weird and tend to like my meat a little dry, so maybe that is why the meat doesn't bother me here.:)

We also tried it for breakfast 2 years ago after our cruise. It was wonderful! I was not expecting much, but we really loved it.

I am like some of the other posters, maybe those who think it's horrible will stay away and I will always be able to get my ADR's for O'Hana!:laughing:
