O'Hana help!

Ok, so we are officially 52 days out from our trip, woohoo , but I am starting to have second thoughts on our O'Hana ADR. I mean what trip would be complete without second guessing things, haha?!?!

Ok, so my party is just me (25) and my DBF (27). I looked at the O'Hana menu on Deb's site, and it looks perfect for us. DBF and I LOVE meat and shrimp and everything else looks good too. I am concerned after reading some less than great reviews on here and other sites, that we will feel out of place here with no kiddies. We are all for fun, but I certainly don't want to eat dinner with kids rolling coconts around my feet. Coule we request to sit away from the main action? Do the hosts/hostesses get annoyed if you ask for specific seating? I figured we could just get there early and aks super nicely

Actually, we were five adults last year and they didn't sit us near the children's stuff. I don't think they'd mind at all if you requested to sit away from the Kid's stuff. Maybe something close to a window (they keep the kid action to the walkways).

I would go and request a seat close to the windows or away from the action. Just ask the host or hostess. They were very helpful when we asked for window seats last week. You guys will enjoy it.

Go, eat well, and have fun. We sat far enough away from the action that we felt left out (our kids were stick in the muds). So, the point is that it is a large enough seating area that you can be away from the action.

The food is really good and it is a fun evening, kids or no.

I haven't been since 2000, but we went on our honeymoon. They not only sat us away from the action, but a guy who was going around singing, stopped at our table and wishes us all the best with our recent marriage. I loved it!!! I was just sad that they changed the menu we so loved back then.
