Ohana - hardest ADR to get?

We are abou 29 days out, and since I started officially planning this trip at about 60 days out - I didnt think I'd get many of the ADR's I truly wanted. Well, butter my biscuits (!!!!), we got just about every single one I wanted! Chef Mickeys, Crystal Palace, Teppan Edo, etc... everything at just about the exact time I wanted. Granted, it took quite a few calls, but we got it. All but the eluuuusive Ohana res. For the 8 days we are there - all they have is dinner at 9pm or after!!! Obviously, with a 3 yo. and 4 yo that won't fly. But it must have been at least the 20th time I've called today, and still nuthin! It's this normal for Ohana? I didnt think it was THAT popular!

'Ohana is very popular. Even booking 90 days out our times were about a half-hour off of what we wanted. I've had this experience before, too. I dont read tons of rave reviews about it (like Le Cellier) on the boards, but it's always been hard to book when we go. Keep trying -- I hope you get your dinner.

We have been trying to get Ohana dinner for June with no luck. But the CM's say to keep trying and be persistant.

We have also tried to get other dinner reservations and the only thing available is late....guess its going to be busy even with the economy the way it is.

I think Ohana is just breakfast and dinner.

On one visit to Ohana a CM told me that it is the most popular restaurant in WDW.

Try at around the 45 day mark from your trip. That is when vacation packages have to be paid for, and some people might need to cancel.

I would also to continue to call before then, people do change their plans around. I recently canceled an 'Ohana reservation we had for early June, I wanted to go, but no one else in the family did.

Keep trying. That is your best bet. Sometimes things open up.

Keep on trying! We booked a VERY last minute trip this past end of Feb. I booked it on Sat. and we left 7 days later for Disney! I tried calling everyday to get Ohana but didn't have any luck. Well, go to the hotel, went to concierge and she was able to get us in for dinner that night! There's always hope!

Yes, Ohana is very popular and with good reason. It's delish! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you though! Good luck and keep trying, even when you're at your hotel.

We just returned yesterday and we had Ohana's on Friday 3/27/09 and I will tell you that Ohana's was the best meal of the trip. I thought it was way better the Le Celliers.

This will be my first reservation to try and get for any future trips.

I would keep trying also. I called, 3X and couldnt get in until I added 2 more ppl, then they had room at normal hours 5:25 and 7pm(we went from a party of 4 to 6). CM said they have room for 6 not 4 when I said it might only be 4 ppl. Its too bad that they do it that way.
