I've heard such wonderful things about O'hana so I'm trying to fit it into my itinerary. Which is better breakfast or dinner? Is this where they have Tonga Toast? Maybe I should just go twice!!

I've only been to dinner there but I would highly recommend it. We eat ourselves sick everytime we go. It is definitely worth making a ps for. Everytime we go to WDW we go there and to the Japanese place in Epcot-Mitsukoshi or something.

This isn't where they have the Tonga toast. Breakfast at Ohanas is a character meal with pretty normal breakfast food (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, waffles) and really good pineapple coconut coffee cake, served all you can eat family style in a skillet. Its a good character meal, but that doesn't sound like what you are looking for.

(I think Tonga Toast is at the Kona Cafe, but I'm sure someone who knows will be around shortly).

:D The dinner was WONDERFUL! We made a PS around the time MK would be doing their Fireworks and we had a great view of the castle all lite up!!! This was our first trip to WDW and we started our first evening at Ohana's. It was really a great way to start our vacation. They turn the lights down and pipe in the music so you can enjoy the fireworks. They had fun games for the kids and the food.......What can I say???? The best of our entire trip....

The Turkey, beef and jumbo grilled shrimp was really good. I think about that place all the time. They had dipping sauces and the lazy susan with the salad and horsdoeuvres.;) Everything was so good!!! Then they bring you a fresh pineapple with Carmel dipping sauce.:p :p We were stuffed! It was a great experience.DD and I are planning a girl trip with a friend in May and we are calling for our Ohana PS tomorrow!!! Woo Hoo!!!

Don't miss it!! You will enjoy your evening at Ohana's!;)

definitely go for dinner, you won't regret it a bit! We went there in June and it was one of our top meals of the trip!

We also had breakfast at Kona Cafe on another day. This is also in the Polynesian resort, just around the corner from 'Ohanas and is were you can get the Tonga Toast.

We have been to Ohana for breakfast and dinner - in fact, on the same day :o - and I would recommend it for dinner. The breakfast is a character breakfast, so that was nice. But, IMHO, nothing beats the atmosphere at night, especially if you can catch the fireworks at the MK. Also, I highly recommend PS. We tried one night at DISCON without and the wait was 2 1/2 hours!

As most of those who have posted I am going to have to suggest Dinner at O'hana. This is one resteraunt that I do not miss whenever I go (that goes for both breakfast and dinner). But if you have to choose I would say go to Dinner and time it so that you can watch the water parade and the MK Fire works, then request a table facing the lagoon. Trust me on this you will not be disappointed!!!

Another vote for dinner at Ohanas. I had it for the first time two weeks ago and it will always be a must for us from now on. If you make a PS for 5 pm get there by 4:45. People were checking in close to 4:50 and requesting the window seats. Perfect view of the fireworks at 6!

We ate at the O'hana this trip as we do every trip and it was GREAT! We did the breakfast there.

I like the variety for my 'pick eaters' and myself. The characture interaction was wonderful and we love the atmosphere...never feel rushed. Its one of the meals we always make a PS for each visit.
