Ohana food pics?

We ate at Ohana's with a good sized group back in July. Everyone loved it, even the kids. I liked it the most, being a big meat eater. They have lots of different types of meat, so as long as you are not a vegitarian, there is something for everyone.

I would recommend dining there because the setting is unreal (castle view w/ poly surroundings) and the food great (lots of it too). You'd have to travel a long way to find anything similar. They have fun activities for the kids and it's fun to watch them cook. I took lots of food pictures, but I haven't bothered to figure out how to post them here yet.

Don't go there looking for good service though. You really have about four servers, which means none of them really "own" you, which means none of them really care. The guys bringing the meat by were great, but after wating forever after dessert, I had to get a server from another table to bring us the bill.

I'll eat there again - good food & great memories.

I have res. for 1900 park fare, I really want to go there, but is it just my DS7 and I so . . . which woudl you do if you were I 1900 park fare or ohana, that is the only day I am debating between which dinner to do . . .

Has anyone eaten at Ohana since they revised the menu (which was supposed to happen on 9/14 I think)?????

Hi there,

I took this pic on 09/15 :) It was everything that they put on your table before you get the meat skewers... awww... I want to go back!!!

My bf and I Loved Ohana's - and we're from Hawaii! At first, I thought my bf was a little weird for wanting to travel 5,000+ miles to eat a place called Ohana's. The food was not at all Polynesian or similar to anything we have here in Hawaii.

I thought the meat from the skewers was on the dry side. The pork was burnt and too crispy to cut with a knife. Then again, I'm not much of a meat eater! My bf loved the turkey and we both loved the potatoes. There was nothing "Maui" about the Maui scalloped potatoes, but we managed to eat two whole servings of them!

The dessert was to die for, and one of the first things I did when I got home was look up the recipe!

When we go back to WDW, we will definately be eating at Ohana's again! I just wish they'd stop calling everyone "cousin!" I've never heard that phrase used in Hawaii :)

I know they changed the menu last Sept (just a few days before our Sept 17th-24th trip). Have they changed it again? No fair!!! We're eating there again next week and don't want to be surprised again (even though we did like the new menu last year).

I posted ths last year, and now it is 10 more sleeps til i go again :)

Anyone have pics of Ohana food?

This year we are going to do both, since we ended up not choosing either last year
