Ok I keep seeing people talk about O'hana fireworks dinner. I am lost. Do people just make reservations there for the time of the MK fireworks or what?

There is no "package" so to speak. You just need to make your ressie time around when the fireworks are to go off at MK. When you check in, make sure they know you want a table by the window so you can watch the fireworks:thumbsup2

We did that. we just made ressies, and got a window seat (luck I guess). It was so awesome!! And the food was good too!

We stayed at the poly last trip and i just wanted to mention the water parade I can't remember what time its at (besides being a smarty pants and saying when its dark lol) but you might be able to catch it while your there too.

Another thought -
If you are unable to get a ressie (or a window seat) during the fireworks time, you can always go to the beach (right outside the restaurant) and watch the fireworks from the beach.....
(don't know if it's piped in or not on the beach, though)

we have an ADR for 6.35, Wishes is at 8pm, do you think that we should try and get a later ADR so that we can see the fireworks from the resturant, or do you think we'll be ok?

TIA :goodvibes

I would try for later. Disney is all about "moving people", and they serve quick.

Wasn't sure if I should start a new thread so I'll try here first. We have ressies at 7:20 at Ohana and really want to see Illuminations at 9 that night. Is that even possible and does anyone know of a good "plan" to do it as far as where to park, take monorail, etc.? We will have our car and will be coming from Animal Kingdom at closing that day at 5p.

I am not nearly as an expert as most people but I would say you are cutting it pretty close regarding Illuminations althought I thought they were at 9:30. I could be very wrong. But I would think that if you parked in the transportation center you could just take the monorail to both O'hana and Epcot.

be tough to do. There is often a short wait at Ohana to be seated. (This can sometimes be remedied by arriving a bit early.) Still you would have to finish your meal, drive to Epcot (I think the only way to come close is to park at the Poly.), get through the gates ad walk to a good viewing spot.

We have a 6:50pm ADR and wishes is at 8:00pm. If for some reason our dinner is over well before 8:00pm (I doubt it will be) but we will just head to the beach as I hear its just as nice watching it down there!
