I hate to ask this, but it could make or break me being able to get an ADR for our upcoming trip.

Does anyone know if the ukelele/hula lady is there every night? Her voice annoys my husband so much that he doesn't really want to go if she's there. He has offered to wear ear buds so we can still enjoy the dinner, but I don't find the lack of conversation so he won't hear her to be all that appealing.

Anyone know?

BTW, sorry if I'm offending anyone by asking this.

We were there in early march and it was a man playing ukulele etc. Hope this helps.

The two times I've been there (the last time was a year ago), it's always been a man playing the ukulele. My guess is they have more than one performer, so it'd be hard to say if the performer would be a man or woman and if it was a woman, if it was the same one you saw last time.

We've gone the past 4 years in a row, and it's always been that woman with the voice. I'm sure she's a very nice lady, but her voice is enough to make you run away. LOL

Now I have to contend with the possibility of a menu change and no more chicken being on it.

We have had both the woman and the man. I like the man better. We went last week and he was the one performing. While she does a good job, I'm with you on the voice.

We have had the man a time or two but the easiest way to avoid her is to make your ADR after 9 pm when the entertainment ends.

We were there a couple weeks ago. "Auntie" is gone. According to our waiter, she is no longer there, she "went back to Hawaii". He said they replaced her with new entertainers. They had a strolling ukulele player (very nice! He took song requests from my kids), and they had some games and hula lessons with a couple men.

Ohana used to be our favorite place! But our experience this last time was not so good. We got a table away from the main floor/ entertainment area, and that really impacted our enjoyment and our kids enjoyment. The meats seemed a bit overcooked, and our waiter was not attentive. Maybe it was just a bad night, but it spoiled it for us :(

For the record, we really liked Auntie! She was fun!

We were there a week ago and there was a new guy we had never seen. We didn't ask about the woman and if he was replacing someone, but the waitress did tell us he was new, because we just missed the coconut races and there were no other activities for kids during our meal.
