We have a 7:30 Ohana ADR and then plan to go to MK from there. I know we can take the monorail from the Poly to MK but I am trying to figure out how to get to the Poly that early. If we took a bus to MK could we take the monorail or boat the the Poly at that time? We will have a car but I’m trying to use Disney transportation as much as possible.

The monorails usually start at 7. Bus service nominally starts at 6:30, but the time the first bus to MK leaves your resort could be a little earlier or a little later.

I would take the car. Then you can either walk to Poly, or take the Resort Monorail one stop.

If you decide to go with the bus, mention to the driver when you get on that you're going to Poly for breakfast, and ask their advice on how to get there. You might get a little Extra Magic.

While our Ohana isn't quite as early (10:00 am) I'm also wondering the best way to get there from POFQ. Last time we took the bus to the MK, then the Monorail to the Poly, but, I didn't care for the fact that we had to account for extra time to line up and clear the bag check, just make our way from the bus to the monorail. Instead, I'm wondering if targeting a different park and/or DS might be a better option. If we go to say, HS, it would just be a matter of hopping off one bus to hop on the next one. Would this be a better option?

I think there are too many variables to know which would be faster. Chief among them is how long you would wait for the 2nd bus.

Resort to resort is the most time consuming transportation. I would just plan on paying for Minnie Van/Uber/Lyft and save yourself all the hassle. Time is money at WDW.

We had a 0800 ressy at Ohana and ended up taking Lyft from Pop. Cost us $12 bucks and saved a big headache.
