We have a ressie for 8:55 PM. Hallowishes is at 9:30 PM that night. We'll be able to see them from the restaurant, correct?

You will be able to see it only if you are seated along the windows facing the castle. Make sure you ask for a table there to be sure you have great viewing access.

Your timing is good, HOWEVER you must know that you are not guaranteed a seat by the window.
If you are not by a window you will NOT be able to see them.
You will hear the music though, as they pipe it in to the restaurant.

Since your ressie is 8:55 your chance of getting a window seat will be slimmer as most people wanting to see Wishes will make their adrs for about 8:30 to ensure they are about done with dinner and can enjoy them.

It is about a 20-40% chance you will get one. Not impossible, but don't count on it.

With your time that close to Wishes time, you can't really say you will wait for a table window side....of course you could just take your chance on if you will be seated or not.

Last time we were there we did not have a seat by the window but we could see the windows and a good bit of the fireworks (not the high stuff) even from several "rows" away.

Could someone man the fort (at the table) and others catch a glimpse outside? Not picturing how far away that is or how disruptive that would be. Sometimes just a peek at the fireworks is enough for my fix.

Not to hijack (sorry) but at 'Ohana dinner -- can you order from bar...not just tropical drinks?

Luckily for the past 3 visits we have had great seats at the windows and were able to watch and somewhat hear the entire show. It was awesome!

Just wanted to add, Ohana is so busy and they always seem to run behind. With an 8:55 ADR, you might be lucky to be seated by 9:30 pm.

we sat on the poly. beach in front of the restaurant and watched the fireworks before dinner and the water parade...it was amazing...the best view ever without being cramped in mkingdom
