Just a quick question....

For the 3 foot skewers, are you allowed to have more than one at the table or is it one for the table? I love shrimp but my wife isnt as fond of it and would want something different (like the pork loin).

Just curious as it could mean the difference between just desserts or an actual dinner there.

Thanks!

The way it works is the staff brings a skewer to your table and they serve portions off on to your plate, (they do not leave a skewer at your table)eventually all of the skewers make it around to your table, and you can have as much or as little of anything you want. I personally think Ohana is a "must do."

Yep, the wait staff just carry the skewers around and pull off whatever meat you want constantly. You can request more of something, or refuse anything you'd like.

Edited to add: I don't know if you can just do desserts there, since its a buffet type restaurant in that it's a set price and menu, though they do offer additional desserts for those eating there, I'm not sure they'd let you just have desserts... I equate it sorta like going to Chef Mickeys and wanting just dessert. (though you dont have to approach a buffet line but instead your waiter constantly is bringing around skewers of meats for you)

Its a GREAT restaurant, HIGHLY recommend it!

They certainly keep coming around until you can't eat another bite. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm..... good.

Kewl. Thanks all for the information. May just make it the first night there dinner. :)

Then maybe we can go out around 8:45 and see the Electrical Water Pagent at 9....

It was gonna be Planet Hollywood, but we have one here so why bother (I've been to the Orlando one a number of times too...).

One more question...do you think I should make priority seating for it? It would for September 30th....

yes, according to the manager they are usually booked to capacity and often turn people without ps away at any time of the year...we had an hr long wait in Jan( slower than Sept) with ps and they were turning people away without ps before we were even seated...( forget the actual time of our ps but do remember it was the earliest i could get)and make it an early one cause the people at the tables first seated often stay there till after Wishes ( so that could be an hr+ depending on what time wishes is)

You're gonna love it!!! 3 weeks ago, we started our vacation 1st meal at Ohanas...and wound up going back a week later!:D
