Ohana dinner and LeCellier lunch or HDDR?

We would choose Ohana and Le Cellier hands down 3 times over before HDDR. We didn't really care for the Hoop-la (slinking away and ducking real quick like, now!)

I love Ohana and I finally got an ADR for Le Cellier but haven't tried it yet. As for HDDR, haven't done it in years. As a kid it was fun, but corny so it depends what you like. If you are looking for entertainment, go for HDDR, but if you are looking for good food, try the others. There is some entertainment at Ohana, fun for kids and a bit noisy, but we love it. Whatever you decide, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Love HDDR! A little more pricey, but gratuity is included with the tickets and they have unlimited beer, wine and sangria. Food is basic fried chicken, ribs, beans, mashed potatoes (I think), salad, bread, and strawberry shortcake for dessert.
The show is corny, but a good time for all.
This will be our third show in the last three years.

Seems like this would really depend on what kind of food you like and what you like to do at WDW. I've not been to Ohana's so I can't really offer advice about that resturant. Le Cellier (my favorite) is a steakhouse (they serve other dishes), while HDDR is more Americana food. Le Cellier is the type of place to go for a nice lunch (or dinner), while HDDR is more for the show than the food (I think I've read where you can get the same food as the HDDR at the Trail's End Resturant at Fort Wilderness).

My family and I thought about the HDDR for our last trip (October 2009), but opted not to go because the show hasn't changed since our last time and we weren't that impressed with the food. We like the 'eating' parts of our vacation, so we would pick "food over show" in most cases.

Le Cellier is really good for lunch, you have to try the shaved prime rib sandwich. If you can, get a very early lunch (11am) otherwise, you will be too full to eat dinner.:cool1:

I definitely vote for the 'Ohana dinner and Le Cellier lunch. My family tried the Hoop-Dee-Doo a couple years ago and probably won't return. It's fun and worth seeing once because it is classic Disney entertainment, but I don't think it's better than those other two meals.

I recognize the Hoop-Dee-Doo show is wildly popular and beloved, but we simply didn't care for it.

I'd do Ohana and Le Cellier, the food is better at both those places.

Both Ohana (one of our favorites) & Le Cellier are good, but HDDR is a very fun dinner show. The food is good and the entertainment is great. It seems that most kids really have a good time at HDDR. We took our 4 yr old last year and he really enjoyed it.
