I spoke with two different CMs who told me that if we got there early and explained what was going on that it should be fine. I'm going to keep checking.....it seems like night or early morning are my best bet.....for a true 6 to open up, but I feel like we can be patient if it means waiting to all get seated together.

Phone CM are notorious for bad information. They tend to tell you what you want to hear with vague verbiage like "should be" when reality is much different. I would not rely on their info. You are gong to be dependent on the good will of the restaurant CMs and the avalibility of an 8 top table.
