I have read in a few different places that checking in at Ohana is a bit of a nightmare and I know we need to get there early. We have a 5:05 ADR (party of 7).
We are just going to be at WDW from Friday- Sunday. In the past we have taken the kids (DD 7 and DS 4) back to the resort for naps, but have decided not to this year since we are only in MK for just one day and they typically aren't napping anymore. In lieu of returning to CSR for naps, I am thinking that I could arrive to Ohana earlier than originally planned (hoping to be toward the front of the check in line) and let the kids snooze on the laps of DH and DSIL while waiting for our ADR. Is there a place for them to sit? Where exactly is the check in podium? I could then wait in line at the check in podium (with adult beverage in hand
).
If we leave MK @ 3:30 and take the monorail to Poly, is it possible to get there and find a spot to relax by 4:00? If I am going to do this, I want to make sure I get there in enough time for them to actually sleep and not be grouchier for having fallen asleep.
