'Ohana, Cape May, or Raglan Road - Have to get rid of one!

To be fair, I've never been to Raglan Road but of our 7 ADRs this last trip, Ohana is firmly in the I want to do it every time category, the food was so good and the atmosphere fun, and Cape May was in our top 3 for sure and I would definately go back again for the crab legs and the desserts were some of my favorites of the trip.

My husband and I got the appetizer for two.

It was so delicious, and very, very filling. There was definitely no discussion of dessert after that meal.

We thought $26 for two people at DISNEY was a very good value!

We would definitely do Raglan Road again!

Sorta confused. Ohana is the same night as Raglan? If you eat at Raglan, you won't be hungry for Ohana.

:rotfl2: Plus they both have great bread pudding for dessert but twice in one night is too much even for a bread pudding lover like me.

Everybody is so different so you're going to have to just cut one and endure! :thumbsup2

For me, Cape May holds no interest because I'm from Seattle and we have outstanding seafood here.

We always eat at Raglan Road but honestly, the dancers are only up for a few minutes. Plus, if you don't have a good seat, you're kind of jockeying around to see it. We always sit in the bar so it's perfect. It's quite a scene in there. Very loud, like, well....an Irish Pub.
The food doesn't blow me away but their fish & chips are quite good.

Ohana is just a really fun place. I love the food, have never had a bad experience. Lots of folks here have voiced very negative experiences but we must be lucky. It's been loads of fun and the food is wonderful. Hot, right off the fire and plenty of it. This is the one I would keep for sure.

I'm going to take a different approach. If you're going to Cape May, check the menus for the day they serve shrimp. The crabs legs will be ther every night, but if she loves shrimp, you might want to research this. Ragland Road, I would check what time and days they have dancers. Also, if you would be going on a weekend night or holiday weekend it could be crowded and you may not end up sitting with a good view, again, this may need further research. I know how disappointed a child can be if things don't work out as planned.

Thanks for the great advice, everyone! No, Ohana and Raglan Road aren't the same night: I don't think our stomachs could handle that! I had already booked Raglan Road when I stumbled across an Ohana for the same night, unfortunately. And, we've only got two free nights (before the rest of the family arrives), so that's why we've got to drop one.

I'm going to end up letting DD decide what she prefers, but I'm going to have her read this thread and look at the menus and pictures -- and then I'll help her make up her mind.

Personally, I would get rid of Ohana. The other two restaurants seem like a better fit for your family. Cape May and Raglan Road are both WONDERFUL restaurants. You must try the bread pudding at Raglan Road. :cloud9: Pure heaven! Have a magical trip!

Cape May is the best, both for the clam chowder, the other seafood dishes, plus the non- seafood ones . Also 'OHana is our other great favorite, and Raglan Road is "overpriced" nothing special to us.

Regland Road drop. Second worst meal we ever had at WDW. 1st was German restaurant.
