O'hana Breakfast

I apologize in advance if this is the wrong forum. Feel free to move it if need be.

My family (me, DH, DD's 4 & 5 ) have a O'Hana ADR at 8:30 am. We have plans to catch a bus to AK when we are finished. About how long does the breakfast take? I've read anywhere from 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hours. Our FP+ date is coming up in 2 weeks and I was wondering what is a safe time to try to get FP. I was thinking we may get to the park around 11 but if I were able to get a FP between 10-11, I didn't know if we would be able to make it. This is our second visit to the world and I know buses can be unpredictable.

AK is the recommended park day but I'm not sure if that helps.

We've been twice and it took about an hour to see all 4 characters. Food is family style so you won't be waiting on food.

They advise allowing 90 minutes for travel. It all depends on when the AK bus arrives. You could wait 5 min or 20 min. I think the bus ride was about 20-25 minutes (IIRC) to AK. I remember it feeling far.

One other thing to keep in mind, and O'hana seems to be worse about this than any other restaurant I've eaten at in Disney. In general, even with an ADR of 8:30, you probably won't be seated until 9 or after. They're always running behind. Keep this in mind, as well.

Thanks! After all my worry, my girls have decided they don't want to meet Lilo and Stitch. So now I'm looking for an ADR for Tuskerhouse! I was worried about the O'hana breakfast anyway for these very reasons.
