Ohana breakfast question...

My family will be staying at the Poly in a few weeks & I would love to do character breakfast at Ohana. Only problem is that one of my DSs is such a picky eater & I don't see anything on menu that he would eat. He would stick to pancakes, waffles, toast, cereal (hmmm, all breads...), donuts, etc. I hate to waste the money if he won't eat anything. Do they ever take special food requests & what would they be?Thanks for all of your help!!!

I cant speak from experience on this, but I would guess at the least they would be able to grab a box of cereal from the Kona Cafe next door. They do get the kids meal for dinner from the Kona, so at best maybe they could get a kids breakfast meal there too. The Kona even offers Mickey shaped pancakes!
If you would rather not worry about it and still want a character meal, Chef Mickeys at the Contemporary(a quick monorail ride away) has a great variety of food including pancakes, waffles, french toast, and cereal

We ate there in September (had loads of fun with Hawaiin Mickey!) and they served small Mickey shaped waffles in the skillet. So your DS should be able to enjoy those!

Thanks for the info!!! I think we'll try it. It is always fun to do a character meal in the resort you are staying in.

Yep, there are Mickey waffles. Also, IRRC biscuits (though those weren't on your list, they fit the "bread" criteria.) And a pineapple coconut coffee cake that he may or may not eat.

we found all the breakfast places were able to provide something "plain" for my sometimes picky ds... at ohana he was very happy w/the mickey waffles, and he was also offered cold cereal choices... i would not worry, just ENJOY!
