I'm going to WDW in December and eating at 'Ohana with a very large group of people. I'm the only one in our party who won't eat pork or scrambled eggs (taste/texture issues) and I was wondering if they have any options like turkey or veggie sausage for me to eat?

It's not a big deal, but it would be nice to have some source of protein before I hit the Magic Kingdom. Do you think I should call ahead about this issue or wait until I get to the restaurant?

Thanks so much for your help!

I would contact them ahead of time. I sent you a PM with contact info.

The TS restaurants are very good at helping out with special requests. Contact them well in advance and then again 48 hours ahead to just recomfirm your request.

Thanks for the info, I really appreciate it. Dizneydaz, I'm gonna shoot them an email ASAP.

Thank you!

We are locals who stay at Disney often. We go to Ohana's for breakfast at least once per trip. Like you, I don't eat pork at all and I'm picky about my eggs. To be honest, I woudn't request a different type of sausage between the Mickey waffles, fruit, sweet bread, and the other foods they give, I always leave there feeling full. However, I understand that you want some protein before you go to the park.

If you have young ones going with you, they will have a lot of fun walking around the place with their "cousins" while the song from the movie is playing.

We were just at the Ohana breakfast 2 weeks ago and requested the turkey sausage. The pork sausage is in links and is what automatically comes with the platter, but it was no problem at all to request the turkey sausage instead, which is in patties... and they were very good! :thumbsup2

Edited to add this link that I just found... you can scroll down to see a pic of the turkey sausage option...

We do the same thing and request a alternative to the pork and it's never been a problem. They are very accomodating with special requests. Just make sure to let them know ahead of time! :)
