Ohana Breakfast no veggies/fruit?

We have a huge Stitch fan in the house, but I am concerned about the menu for breakfast.

The menu on allears & Dis lists fruit "for the kids". What about the rest of us? Do we just get plate after plate of meat & potatoes?

Is there no green/orange/yellow veg at all? A sprig of parsley, perhaps?

And do the kids also get to eat the meat offerings?

We'd want to do a Park after & I'm just picturing a lot of upset, greasy tummies.
TIA :)

I looked at the menu on Dis because I was very surprised at your question, but it does say "seasonal fruit bowl available for children"!

It's strange to me because they have always brought a fairly large bowl of fruit. Several types of melon, grapes, that kind of thing. I had no idea it was "for the kids", it's always been plenty for the whole family and anytime you ask for more of anything they will bring it.

All the food is served family style, which means everyone can eat everything. First they bring a bread basket with the awesome pineapple bread, and several other types of breads and rolls, some sweet some not. They also serve coffee, tea, milk and all the fresh squeezed OJ you want. Then they bring the fruit bowl.

After that they bring a large wok filled with all the other foods: scrambled eggs, link sausages, bacon, potatoes and Mickey Mouse Waffles!! I can't believe DIS didn't mention the MM Waffles!! They are so darling and the kids love them (me too). After this your server will offer to bring more of anything you'd like... if for some reason they don't offer, ASK! You can get as much of anything as your family will eat.

We love this breakfast! It is one place we never skip! Don't expect 5 star cuizine, but we've always gotten great service and good hot food. The kids will have a great time! They have a parade around the restaurant -- all the kids with noise makers and all the characters! And each character will spend one on one time at your table! Be sure to bring your camera and an autograph book for the kids (you'll also need a big fat pen). You'll love it!

We have been to Ohanas several times in recent months (in fact the valet guys know us by name!) The fresh fruit platter is wonderful - melon, grapes, pineapple. It is one of my favorite parts of the b-fast (well that and the pineapple bread!)

It's a wonderful experience, good food and fun characters!

When we were there in January it was family style & there was plenty of everything for everyone--fruits, meats, my favorite Mickey Waffles.

The pineapple was exceptionally good.

Thanks for your great descriptions.

I am so relieved. I've been waffling (ha!ha!) over this for awhile now. Will call tomorrow to try for an ADR.

I was trying to be sure to fit in some Mickey Waffles on our trip too. So thank you for that info!
