"Ohana and the vegetarian?

I just recently added dinner at 'Ohana to our list of ADR's. When I look at the menu on allears, the skewers seem to be all meat. What do the vegetarians eat? Also, what about a kids menu? I know the 9 yo in our group will not be this adventurous...

I don't know about the vegetarian part but when we were there in dec my dd wasn't hungary so our waitress let us order chicken tenders to go for her to eat later if she got hungary so they may let them order something like that. Keep in mind that the meat served is steak, chicken, turkey, pork and sausage and they are all very good. The other items at the table are scalloped potatoes, glazed shrimp, and sesame glazed chicken wings, salad.

I forgot to say he does eat seafood. Do they skewer any type of seafood, or will he be limited to the glazed shrimp?

They will make a special entree for a vegetarian if you tell your server. I believe once I had a stir fry w/ noodles and veggies and last time I had udon noodles with miso broth and veggies. It was pretty good, but I actually was more into the side items--especially the wontons and peanut sauce and the potatoes!

the shrimp only come glazed but they are really good its similar to a sweet and sour type glaze.

No, they used to have large shrimp on skewers but not any more. Just tell them you have a pescetarian in your party when you make the ADR, and they can either make him a special meal or you can just have him bypass the wings and skewers.
