Ohana ADR vs. Ohana Feast

DW and I will be staying DVC at the Poly in December.

We have an Ohana ADR for dinner.

We are considering doing the Ohana Feast as room service instead.

Based on the DVC room location and the location of the restaurant, which would you do and why ?

Have never done the room service option but we love eating in the restaurant. There is music and games for the kids. If you want it to be a little quieter, ask to be seated on the other side of the grill. This is a smaller section of the restaurant and I do not believe the kids go there for the games - but you can still hear the music.

I adore room service. Being DVC you can always reheat as needed

Oliver Green of the DIS team did a room service review of the 'Ohana feast a few months ago. Long story short he felt while good it was better at the restaurant. He felt the food suffered from cooling.

We've done both. O'hana many times and O'hana room service once when a friend was staying in a bungalow and we had a gigantic dining room table to spread everything out on and really enjoy the meal. The room service food was good, but, honestly, the atmosphere just wasn't the same. I really enjoy the experience of the music, games and method of serving at O'hana and preferred being in the restaurant. That being said, if we were going to order room service one night, I would definitely consider ordering the meal, but it's not a substitute for being in the restaurant.
