Ohana ADR for December 2017?

Hello everyone!

I am looking for a dinner ADR for Ohana for the 2nd week of December on a weekday. I have had alert's set since we finalized our plans over 4 months ago and I have not received ONE alert that there was a reservation available. I was even getting alerts for BOG (which I ended up getting!). So my question is, is Ohana ADR's THAT hard to get? Should I be nervous that we may not get one? Or do they tend to open up closer to the actual day?

Just keep the faith. As your trip gets closer more people finalize their plans, drop extra reservations, people who have to cancel at the 45 day payment mark dump theirs...plenty of things can happen that will open a spot up for you. Might not be an ideal time, but something will hopefully pop up.

Im in a similar position, except I need to change my 4:15 adr on 12/13 because I bought a dessert party that night.

You should try the dining reservation website a few times a day. That's how I found my Ohana reservation for December. I booked my trip after the 180 day mark and was able to get a 9:40 reservation. Kept looking for a better time and then was able to score an 8:15, which works a lot better for us. I think people who are constantly looking snag the reservations before the finder picks them up. The finder looks for the reservations about once every hour. People looking in between those searches might find something that pops up and quickly grab it.
