I need suggestions. I have a reservation at Ohana for 4:00 and for 9:30 on the same day, which one do I keep? I we do the 9:30 we might get to see wishes. (might depending on where we are seated) or do the 4:00 and miss the Animal Kingdom parade? I do have three children 11, 8, and 6. Thanks for your input. Chris

It depends on if you want to sleep in the next day. You would probably be getting back very late from the 9:30 ressies. I would like to eat there and see wishes. :) I really don't care for the Animal Kingdom parade. -

You just have to decide what you like better, parades or fireworks.

I would like to suggest u is take the choice of 9:30 seating as we had a blast. We would like to eat there and see wishes. and u can look fireworks.

Someone posted a "worried about the Poly" thread on the Resort Board. In one of the replies, someone talked about having 9:10 ADRs for Ohana and being told upon arrival that they would not be seated until 10 pm at the earliest; it seems that no one was leaving because they were all staying to watch Wishes.

The timing obviously depends on when Wishes is, but it would be terrible for you to be in the lobby, waiting for your name to be called, while missing Wishes.

I would do the 4:00. 9:30 is really late, considering you probably would be eating your food between 10 and 11.

When are you going and what time is Wishes? 10:00? Do the 9:30, get there early like 8:30-8:45 and tell them you want a window seat. I'm assuming your spending the day at AK, dont rush to get to dinner let the kids enjoy the parade, have a light lunch, youll need your appetites for ohana! I'm kinda bummed we didnt go to ohana for dinner last trip, we did the lilo and stich breakfast which i would recomend for your kids, food was great for breakfast and mickey and pluto were there too.

I agree with Missypie; we had a 8:50pm ressie in November and we showed up at 8:30 trying to get a table on time for Wishes. From 8:45 to 10pm there was no new tables being seated because no one was leaving. We were stuck in the lounge during the fireworks. Couldn't even watch it from the beach! To top it off there was no kids around that late for any fun and games. They sat an enormous party of 30 in the middle of the room. My sons fell asleep in their chairs during that meal.

10pm: Hawaiian Pork Sausage
10:30pm: Bread Pudding a la mode
1:00am: indigestion

You do the math. :rotfl2:
