I set down the bottle of water I was drinking while I got some laundry out of the dryer. I came back to it a few minutes later and took a big swallow. BUT it wasn't my bottle. It was the bottle DS had in his backpack on Friday, refilled with tap water at school, and left on the counter some time after he got home from school. My bottle was on the coffee table. YUCK YUCK YUCK! That is why I should stick to Pepsi!

Maybe if the bottle would have still had filtered water in it I wouldn't have been so grossed out. But really, room temperature tap water is icky. I promise!

It's still better than taking a swig out of a can of coke that (unbeknownst to me) someone used to put their cigarette butts in!

Me either, I thought a bug was gonna be in the bottle.

A variation of this happened to my friend - she got an opened/partially empty can of Coke from the refrigerator, took a big swig, and a roach came out into her mouth with the coke

She said she stood at the sink and spat for half an hour!

We once switched a friends bottles .One had his Bud in it the other had his spit from his constant chew.that we all had enough of .
