My DH started yesterday with the aches and shivers and the sore throat. I have a little bit of a sore throat. Just in time for us to leave for Walt Disney World on Saturday

This reminds me of a trip we took a couple of years ago! I started to come down with a sore throat and when I got to Orlando I went and bought over the counter meds all week. I tried to fight it off but as soon as our plane landed back home I was SOOOO sick. I went to the Dr.'s the next day and found out I had strep!! UGGG....

I bought the extra C and E orange juice yesterday the food store. As long as Matt does not get sick, the 2 of us can suck it up and move on

Get thee to the Pharmacy and buy yourself a pack of ZICAM!!!! It is a semi-homeopathic, zinc based 'remedy' for the common cold. If you start it at the onset of symptoms, it will diminish the length and severity of the common cold. I used it 3 times last winter, and I am a BELEIVER!!!!!

It comes in nasal spray and swabs. I prefer the swabs.

Go! Now! Go get some. You will be feeling better by morning.

Another vote here for ZICAM. It truly worked wonders for me a few months ago and I swear by it now. Really---go get some NOW--you'll be glad you did. Keep us posted!

Zicam is wicked good. DH had similar symptoms last night. I made him take Zicam and he feels much better today.

You can probably find it at Target. I bought some to stock up for this winter at WalMart. You should be able to find it at any of those type places.
