I want the next few days before my vacation to pass quickly....

So, tell me what you are anticipating the MOST about your 1st visit or return visit to Disney World.

For me, it's riding the TTA, trying out some new rides (Dinosaur and Test Track) and spending a lot of money in the bakery shops (I gotta have one of those Mickey Rice Krispie Treats)!!

Hopefully, you'll be more original than my 8-year old daughter. The first thing she wants to do is ride Goofy's Barnstormer and Aladdin's Magic Carpets!!

Can't wait to read some replies!!!

:earsgirl: and princess:

I can't wait to see Mickeys Philharmagic, ride Mission:Space, see Wishes.....but I also love the feeling we (DH, DD9 and DD8) get from our annual Christmas visit to our Florida home. Would really love it if they would let me into my apt in the castle though LOL

I dont know what we are going to do first! I havent been to Disney in 10 year's, and this is my DH and 2 DS's first time to go!:earseek: So I am sooooo afraid that when we get there that we are going to be totally overwhelmed:faint: and miss out on a lot:( I hope not, I am just afraid I know sooooo much has changed since when I was there last. I am just nervous, anxious and I cant wait to go!!! Have a great time!:wave2:

We try to go at least once per year, but this year, with all the new things opening up recently, we just had to plan a trip at Christmas! So we are really looking forward to Mission Space, Mickey's Philharmagic, and Wishes!

Also, this is our first visit to WDW at Christmas and we are very excited about seeing all the sights and sounds for the holiday!

..can't wait to wander into Epcot and hear that slightly cheesy, 'futuristic'(?) muzak around Innoventions, before cruising the world showcase.:D

We're doing our 1st MNSSHP this year--- and time to go can't get here fast enough. I can't wait to do the first walk of the trip down Main Street. It always makes my eyes well up. Next to that the characters. I love the interaction w/ them. It completes the magic for me.

Princess Dana - we'll be a CSR from Thurs thru Monday! Maybe we'll see each other!

I can't wait to try out Mission Space and have a Coke Float in the Magic Kingdom! :bounce: :Pinkbounc

We're going to check out AKL also.
CAN'T WAIT :hyper: CAN'T WAIT :hyper: CAN'T WAIT :hyper:

The Living Seas ( since I am saltwater fish lover )
and all of the 3d shows.... <sigh> 22 days... this will take forever to get here....

I can't wait to see Wishes and Mickeys Philharmagic, ride Mission:Space.

I just can't wait to be there. Hear the music and feel the magic.

Well, this next time I'm going, will be the first time I've gone to WDW with my boyfriend. He hasn't been there since he was 10 years old (21 years ago!). I most look forward to that warm fuzzy feeling you get when you walk up main street and see the castle, and this time getting to share it with him. I also look forward to seeing the look on his face when we go on PoTC , which he has been excited to ride since we saw PoTC the movie (the first time we saw it...we've since seen it 3 times!).

It is hard to explain. I've been to WDW about 14 times. Every time I go it still puts me in the same happy mood. To be able to see someone I care about expereince WDW for the first time since they were a small child is sort of like watching an actual small child enjoy WDW.

Planning my vacation out with DBF has been sort of like planning a trip around an 8 year old. I've booked Pirates Dinner theater in Orlando, made sure to leave plenty of time for repeat rides on Buzz Lightyear and PoTC, and set aside a day to go horseback riding at Wilderness Lodge (DBF has never been on a horse and has always wanted to, because he is obsessed with both the old west and medieval times (which , btw, is another orlando dinner theater we'll be going to)).

I have been killing time by putting together an extensive Powerpoint presentation on WDW & The other Orlando parks using pictures, movie clips and music. Sort of like a guidebook catered to DBF. It might not be that useful, but it's been a great way to channel some of that WDW anticipation :)

I can't wait for the magic that I feel when I am there. I love Main Street!!! I love eating with the characters. I can't wait to see wishes, illuminations, ride the monorail, TOT, RNRC, and to see the castle change colors at night.:bounce: :Pinkbounc

I am so excited!!!! Only 93 days!!!!! Only 92 days until we tell the kids!!!! My favorite is the feeling of seeing the castle when we first enter. I love the anticipation, and the vacation is a great reward!

Lots of neat things here. :) I always look forward to the Kiss Goodnight at the MK, after a day at the park. Just sort of puts a cap on the day.

This is DD3 first trip to WDW. I can't wait to see her face when she sees the castle and meets Mickey. I can't wait to check out Philharmagic. We're all newbies to F&W Festival and MNSSHP. Just over a week away!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :hyper:

Hi Strings! We're at ASMU as well. Keep your eye out for lime green ribbon. :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: It's my 15 yo DS's first trip to WDW so I'm looking forward to him finally getting a grip on the scope of WDW. He keeps equating it with a Six Flags/Bush Gardens kind of thing. He has no idea how wrong he is  .

It sounds so silly, but even though we've been umpteen times I still just get a happy grin on my face as we come to the first Welcome signs inside WDW. At that point I leave the rest of the world behind and just immerse myself in being in the most magical place on earth.

We'll be there this week as well from Thurs to Sun. I'm looking forward to a lot of firsts: F&WF, Mickey's Philharmagic, Typhoon Lagoon and our first stay at POR! DH and DD are looking forward to Mission Space but not me and DS! :crazy2:

See y'all there!:wave2:

This is our first trip ever to Disney and I can't wait to see the looks on my DS2 & DS4's faces when they meet Mickey and see the castle for the first time. They are so excited. Everyday I say like "5 more days" and they both respond "to Mickey Mouse House." It's so cute.:Pinkbounc :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

There's nothing on earth that compares to waking up in the morning on your first full day at WDW. You open your eyes and it takes a minute to realize where you are...suddenly you remember and LEAP out of bed to get ready for the day! I am NOT a morning person, so my DH laughs at how quickly I can be up and ready to go when we are at Disney.

After that there's the feeling of stepping outside of your hotel on that first morning, feeling the warm Florida air and just bursting with anticipation of what's to come. I am getting so happy just thinking about it :)

Most of all, my DH, DS and I are looking forward to seeing the look on DD's (3) face when she meets Mickey Mouse for the first time...

I wish I were there now!
