Oh so disappointed!

I've been checking this thread for several months now and trying the different suggestions for trying to get a PIN. Went on the Disney site and updated my profile, saved an offer in "my vacation", etc. Well, this morning I checked my email and there was something from Disney, saying "A special offer from Disney". I was so sure that my PIN had come!! It was an offer for 4 movies for $1.00. Ugh.

We have never received a pin code.

Earlier today I get a package from FedEx. The return address is from Disney.

I was wondering what on earth it could be , and I was hoping that it was some specially packaged offer/pin code.

Well, it was literature on DVC!

I admit, I had the thought, "we go to Disney every year and you never send me a pin code or discount offer, but you pay to FedEx me info on DVC!"

I have never received a pin code but I have also never been mad about it! It's not a requirement in Disney to hand them out...

I can't say I'm mad about it, but it sure would be nice.

I've always thought that the reason Disney never sends me a pin is because they know I'm going to go either way!

I'm disillusioned about the email too. We have now planned a beach vacation instead. I was just waiting for a pin!

I JUST did the same thing. I've been checking non stop for a pincode for Nov. I just sat down and saw the same heading as you. I screamed so loud the kids came running. I made my daughter open it, I was sure it was MY code I've been waiting for. I could finally start planning our trip!!

My son says, mom I haven't seen you that excited in years. I'm not sure you'd be that excited if you won the lottery!! now I'm back to being totally bummed.

I don't believe this actually happened, but it did. I decided to call Disney to see if there were any pincodes attached to my name and there weren't. A couple of minutes later I'm checking my email and there is another email from Disney. This time it is a code for free dining and is good through December 17! Don't give up hope you guys.

That is great. I wondered why the code did not show up. I am trying to keep the faith but don't they usually release the general public code in August. We really need a code!!!
